Can I buy a home with no money down?

Sometimes, yes. VA loans (eligible veterans) and USDA loans (eligible areas) allow 0% down. Otherwise, low-down options plus down-payment assistance can get you close to zero out of pocket.

It's possible for some buyers. VA loans for eligible veterans and service members, and USDA loans in eligible areas just outside the cities, both allow zero down. Those are the two true no-down-payment paths.

If you don't qualify for those, you can often get close: a low-down-payment loan (3% to 3.5%) combined with a Florida down-payment assistance program can shrink your out-of-pocket dramatically. Keep in mind you'll still have closing costs to plan for. Let's look at which combination fits you.
